9-month sales in line with yearly targets: EUR 35 million (+25%)

EUR 9.9 million in sales in Q3 2003

 

Sales for Audika Group for the third quarter of 2003 stood at EUR 9.88 million (+10.1% on the previous year). Like-for-like, growth stood at +4.8%.

As such, activity in Q3 2003 is fully in line with the Group's yearly targets.

Indeed, the third quarter is traditionally the least active over the year in terms of sales (drop in activity and temporary lull in advertising campaigns linked to the summer holidays, closure of certain centers during the month of August). Over the past five financial years, it has accounted for an average 19.1% of yearly sales (sales in Q3 2003 accounted for 19.4% of Audika's 2003 target of sales of EUR 51 million).

 

 

Sales over nine months: +25% to EUR 35 million

 

Growth for Audika Group proved sustained over the first nine months of 2003. All told, the Group realized sales of EUR 35 million, namely an increase of +24.7% on the previous year. Like-for-like, growth stood at +10.6%.

 

 

Over EUR 51 million in sales in 2003

 

Given the level of activity enjoyed by Audika over the first nine months of the year and the fact that the Group traditionally realizes nearly one third of total sales during the last quarter of the year, Audika is confident in meeting its annual targets.

 

For 2003 as a whole, Audika aims to generate sales of over EUR 51 million for an operating profitability of over 15.4%.

 

Audika will publish its yearly sales for 2003 on February 10, 2004.
